a dalmatian sniffs the air and curves his fur around a man’s leg


I bought a large portion’ a young man joins a girl on a bench

and unwraps the salt and vinegar scent

a family of different sizes arrive in the wind and debate

a battered sausage, scampi, a veggie burger for her


a cyclist leans his bike against the curb and buys a fishcake

he stands astride his bike and bites the crisp golden disc

with his feet over the sea a man gazes vacant

his smile in the paper chip bag
